Professional Kitchen Organization & Private Cooking Lessons At Home By Chef Lorraine
Hi! I'm Chef Lorraine!
My Mission Is To Get You
Lorraine organized our walk-in pantry about 5 years ago - She constantly said "Penny Wise Pound Foolish"! I had no idea what she meant until I saw the pile of EXPIRED food that was being thrown away. I've always had the habit of "multiple purchasing" especially when things are on sale. I realized that even if something is on sale, it isn't cost effective if I end up throwing it away. Now, with all my beautiful Tupperware Modular Mate containers I can see exactly what I have and what I need, making shopping and meal planning a breeze. When we moved, I literally put the containers into a box and unpacked them right into the cupboards in our new house. Easy as 1-2-3

I'm a Personal Trainer, my work hours are crazy and all over the place. I try to set an example for my clients, but because of my erratic schedule I let my nutrition slip. Lorraine helped me break down my meal planning in a completely different way. I literally "make an appointment with myself" for meal planning, grocery list and enough time at home to prep it all. Now, with everything prepped and in the fridge - when I get home from work, lunches & dinners are put together in no time at all.

I live in a small apartment with the tiniest kitchen known to man. I literally have 2 small cupboards with 2 shelves each for all my food...and I LOVE TO COOK! I even put my small appliances in my hall closet. Lorraine came over, did her "tetrus brain" thing and mapped out my two cupboards within minutes. She actually had enough Tupperware Modular Mate containers in her car to put all of my food away - and freed up an entire shelf!! Now, I not only have space but I find my food stays fresher longer. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Lorraine is an organizational genius! Just one look at her own cupboards and you can see she knows what she's doing. We hired her to organize and maximize space in the very small kitchen in our new home...the entire time she's throwing out all this nutritional knowledge which has now made us look differently at the food we eat .
Lorraine is extremely hard working and doesn't stop until the job is done - we were impressed with the amount of work she got done in one day.
I highly recommend Lorraine for your kitchen organization, you WONT be disappointed!
I absolutely love brisket, and love it even more the next day! This brisket is a fabulous prep, leave and cook recipe, with simple easy to find ingredients. If you want really thin slices, allow it to cool and refrigerate for 24 hours, it’ll be super easy to slice, pour a little sauce over and…Read More
I love to bake. For me its another creative outlet. The problem is I also LOVE to eat fresh home baked goods. Over the last couple years of living a healthier lifestyle eliminating sugar and low-glycemic carbs has led me to less conventional baking and more experimenting. But, having said all that…every once in a…Read More

Hi There! It’s been a very long while since I’ve been here. Doesn’t mean I’ve stopped eating, on the contrary, probably been eating a little too much! Been experimenting and playing in my kitchen as much as ever. Unfortunately, life has gotten in the way of my documenting and posting recipes. I’m hoping this one…Read More
Love hiding vegetables from your family? I do! We’re used to using pureed pumpkin & sweet potato and grated zucchini everything at this time of year, why not use squash? By using grated squash, buttermilk & vinegar this cake comes out so moist and flavorful! Best part, you’ve hidden a large amount of squash from all the…Read More

I’ve always loved meals that are what I call “One Pot Wonders”. Although this bakes up all in one nice big pan, you will need a deep skillet to get it all started. I’ve been making a dish similar to this for years, but the other night while watching Chef Lidia Bastianich on Television make…Read More

I made Lentil Shakshuka the other day and found I cooked way too many lentils. Decided I’d make another batch and when I started the sauce I got creative adding a few other spices, then I decided I was in the mood for curry with a Thai twist. Next thing I know I’ve got this gorgeous bubbling, thick, rich…Read More
